Becky Lynch receives Most Popular Wrestler 2019 award from PWI

Pro Wrestling Illustrated released their official 2019 Achievement Award winners with Becky Lynch becoming the first woman ever to top the Most Popular Wrestler list.

Lynch was second runner up in last year’s list behind Set Rollins and winner AJ Styles. This year ‘The Man’ beat Jon Moxley, Kofi Kingston and Johnny Gargano to top the list.

The Pro Wrestling Illustrated Most Popular Wrestler of the Year award has been running since 1972 and reads like who’s who of pro wrestling’s biggest names and now Lynch is a part of it.

Lynch took to Twitter to commemorate yet another amazing achievement to add to her long list of stellar accolades in 2019.

Lynch also topped the PWI Women’s 100 list for 2019 giving her two coveted awards from the highly esteemed publication.
