9. Lyra Valkyria 28yo WWE
Lyra Valkyria is already done so much in her short time in WWE, let alone being NXT Women’s Champion first. Valkyria started her training for wrestling a decade ago in 2015. She trained at Finn Balor’s school in Ireland – Fight Factory Pro Wrestling.
Valkyria spent the first five years of her wrestling career in the European indies. Mostly in Ireland, Germany, and then England. She signed with WWE in 2020 and took part in the company’s NXT UK brand. She remained undefeated until she crossed paths with Meiko Satomura. She took a hiatus in late 2021 through 2022 and then NXT UK closed its doors. Valkyria would make the trip over to the United States and joined the NXT brand.
As she built herself up in NXT, she would get a huge opportunity and face her idol, Becky Lynch for the NXT Women’s Title. At Halloween Havoc in 2023, Valkyria would defeat Lynch and go on to hold the title for 165 days. She would get called up to Raw in 2024 after WrestleMania. Valkyria’s momentum was quick at first as she made it to the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament and entered her very first Money in the Bank ladder match.
Valkyria would make history at the start of 2025 when she became the inaugural WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. A title she still holds. She entered her first WrestleMania match this month where she became a double champ for one day….winning the tag team titles with Lynch against Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan. They dropped the tag titles back to Rodriguez and Morgan the next night on Raw. Lynch turned on Valkyria post match.
Valkyria has proven herself in the five years she has been with WWE and she hasn’t even hit that age of 30 yet! Think about where she could be five years from now with all of that talent!
