Earlier this month, indy star Athena suffered a shoulder injury while competing at a WSU event in New Jersey.
Diva Dirt initially reported a statement from Athena saying that she would be out of action roughly two months, pending a MRI.
Today, in an exclusive statement to Diva Dirt, Athena reveals that she will be on the sidelines indefinitely, having learned that she has suffered a severely separated shoulder and a bruised shoulder blade.
A timetable has not been set for her return to the ring. It all depends, she says, on how well she does in physical therapy.
