Flawless Face-Off Results: Melina Dominates Round 1

The first round of the Flawless Face-Off has officially wrapped—and let’s just say, the divas did not come to play. With heated votes, passionate fan responses, and a few surprise upsets, Round 1 delivered the glam, grit, and greatness we were hoping for. From killer finishers to iconic pairings, you all showed up to crown your faves—and the results speak for themselves.

So before we move into the second round of this dazzling celebration of the Divas Era, let’s give our flowers to the winners of Week 1. Whether they crushed their competition with a split-legged drop or charmed us in couples segments, these five took the crown in their respective categories.

Best Finisher: Melina – Primal Scream

When Melina hit the Primal Scream, it wasn’t just a finishing move—it was a full-body performance. Equal parts raw power and theatrical release, Melina’s split-legged leg drop looked like something that would snap a spine in half and break hearts simultaneously. Whether you were a loyal Melina stan or a casual viewer, there was no denying how final that move felt. You didn’t kick out of the Primal Scream—you just laid there and rethought your life choices. This category was stacked with iconic moves, but Melina soared above the rest.

Most Underrated: Gail Kim

Gail Kim has long been the definition of underrated—both a workhorse and a ring general in an era that too often didn’t know what to do with her. Her in-ring IQ, seamless transitions, and crisp execution were light years ahead of the environment she was often booked into. Despite short-lived runs and frustrating creative decisions, Gail left her mark in ways that few others have—especially for fans who knew where to look. Her win here feels like justice. Fans have always recognized Gail’s contributions even when the spotlight didn’t.

Best Gear: Melina

Melina’s gear always felt like a direct extension of her character—bold, glamorous, unpredictable. Whether she was decked out in glistening rhinestones or fierce red leather, she never missed a beat when it came to fashion-forward ring attire. Her entrances weren’t just a walk to the ring—they were full-on catwalk moments, and the gear sold every bit of the attitude she brought with her.

What pushed Melina to the top in this category was consistency. She never phoned it in. Each outfit felt intentional, and over time, her looks became just as memorable as her ring style.

Best Tag Team/Stable: LayCool

Michelle McCool and Layla redefined what it meant to be annoying—and we mean that as a high compliment. With matching outfits, synchronized promos, and flawless chemistry, they blurred the line between comedy and cruelty. You hated them because they were so good at what they did.

Their win here shows just how enduring their legacy is. LayCool made tag team storytelling feel fresh, sharp, and wickedly fun during a time when the division didn’t always get the love it deserved.

Favorite Onscreen Pairing/Couple: Lana & Rusev

There was something magical about Lana and Rusev—an odd couple that made perfect sense the moment they appeared together. Lana’s icy composure paired with Rusev’s brute force created a dynamic that was equal parts beauty and beast. From their early days of “Rusev CRUSH” to their eventual messy love triangles, they gave us soap opera realness with a side of national pride.

What made them resonate wasn’t just the storylines—it was the commitment. Even at times when

Round 1 was fierce—and if these winners are any indication, we’re in for a wild ride. Whether or not your favorite won, this tournament is all about reliving the moments that made the Divas Era unforgettable.

Stay tuned for Round 2, dropping this Wednesday—and if you think we missed someone in a category, now’s your last chance to speak up!
