Stephanie Vaquer Finalizes The MITB Field, Kairi Sane Is Two For Two

Stephanie Vaquer had a very successful first night as an official member of the Raw roster.

In a triple threat Money in the Bank qualifying match, Vaquer captured the last spot in the match for this Saturday. She defeated both Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile. Vaquer pinned Nile after hitting the SVB.

Qualifying for the MITB match makes Vaquer the fourth woman entering their first one. She joins Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Rhea Ripley. Naomi and Alexa Bliss will be the veterans in the match to round out the field.

After the match during a backstage interview with Vaquer, Ripley would emerge and the two would shake hands. Ripley told Vaquer she’ll see her on Saturday.

Outside of the MITB ladder match this weekend, Lyra Valkyria will be defending the Women’s Intercontinental Title against Becky Lynch. If Valkyria wins, Lynch can’t go for the title anymore…but if Lynch wins, Valkyria must raise her hand in victory.

Valkyria worked on her mic chops during an in ring promo where she promptly wanted Lynch to merely shut up. Especially after a video promo aired from Lynch beforehand. Despite the stupid “what” chants from the crowd (a thing that should have died years ago), Valkyria expresses that she has changed…she’s had to get angry. She says no one in her life has hurt her the way Lynch has and she is capable of destroying her.

Lynch responds saying she doesn’t believe what Valkyria is saying to be true. She feels Valkyria has just found any excuse to hate her. And she feels Valkyria just wants to replace her, but nobody can.

Valkyria tries to get Lynch to have a preview right then in Tusla, but Lynch says no. Valkyria then goes after her opponent and they two have a brief brawl on stage.

Roxanne Perez was told by Liv Morgan to not interfere in her match this week. She did, however, interfere in the Judgment Days match vs. the War Raiders, helping Finn Balor get the win. Morgan confronts Balor about Perez as Balor just tries to convince her that Perez is just here to help.

Lastly, Raquel Rodriguez took on Kairi Sane. Last week, Sane defeated Morgan and this week she would defeat the other tag champ.

This time, Women’s World Champ IYO SKY would come down to the ring to even the playing field as Morgan was at ringside. Rodriguez went to grab a handful of SKY’s hair from over the top rope which was enough of a distraction for Sane to take advantage. After knocking Rodriguez out, Sane hit the InSane Elbow for the win.
