Former WWE Divas and Women’s Champion Layla reminisced about a segment she had with the wrestling icon, Mae Young. It was a legends show and Lay-Cool (Layla and Michelle McCool) as the Divas Champion, roasted Mae Young on stage about her age. She was accompanied by the Bella Twins.
While speaking with Denise Salcedo, Layla talked about this moment –
Okay, one of them would have to be one of the legend shows. It was with Mae Young. If you remember, she came out there. It was a segment with LayCool. I don’t know, she completely went off script, and she was like, ‘you little bitches,’ and stuff like that, and she shocked me. So I would love to relive that again. That was the most funniest thing that’s ever happened, and it was just like… it was just (this) iconic kind of thing.”
Layla has emerged more recently in interviews since being private and keeping to herself over the years. She has gone on record to say she’s return if Michelle McCool did as well.
