Tonight Impact Wrestling will broadcast their special Genesis episode of Impact that will see Laurel Van Ness defend the Knockouts Championship against Allie.

“Tonight at Genesis, we will see the number 1 contender for the Knockouts Championship finally get the opportunity she has been waiting for. Allie became number 1 contender at the end of 2017 by winning a Fourway Knockouts Match.
Since that moment, Allie has become the target of Knockouts Champion Laurel Van Ness and now this Thursday the two will go one on one for Knockouts gold. The history between Allie and Laurel Van Ness is well documented. Remember when Laurel was going to marry Braxton Sutter?
Laurel and Allie have been in each others lives ever since. Now that Laurel is Knockouts Champion, can Allie take the title away from her? Can Allie continue to drive Laurel Van Ness further and further into a downward spiral? Who needs this victory more?
Laurel seems to have found her mate in the Knockouts Championship, she is more focused than ever before and with the Championship she has a purpose. Laurel has been dominate and has struck at the right time.
Now there is a chance for Allie to see the attack of Laurel coming. Allie has come a long way since she was the “apprentice” to Maria and the Lady-Squad. Allie has broken out on her own and accomplished more than perhaps even she could have imagined. Allie can finish this quest with a victory at Genesis and a Knockouts Championship.”
