Toxic Attraction made their debut on this past week’s SmackDown as a replacement team for the Women’s Tag Team Tournament. They replaced the team of NXT team of Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons and defeated Natalya and Sonya Deville in a first-round match-up to advance to the semi-finals.
WWE has confirmed that Gigi Dolin of Toxic Attraction has now suffered an injury and the team will no longer participate in the semi-finals match against Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah. A replacement team will earn their spot in a “second chance” Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match that will take place this Friday on SmackDown.
Because it is a second chance, the presumed participants will be those eliminated in the first round matches – Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop, Tamina and Dana Brooke, Natalya and Sonya Deville, and lastly Shotzi and Xia Li.
The other semi-finals match takes place tonight on Raw between Alexa Bliss & Asuka vs. Dakota Kai & IYO SKY.
