Giulia Vows To Dethrone Perez! Vaquer Seeks Revenge In Main Event

Welcome to the December 10th edition of NXT! We’re fresh off Deadline and building to New Years Evil, let’s dive in!

To kick off the night’s action, HERE COMES GIULIA! Fresh off her Iron Survivor victory, she makes her entrance with purpose. Mic in hand, she declares her intention: to take Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s Championship at New Year’s Evil.

But not so fast—ROXANNE IS HERE! Roxy doesn’t hold back, calling Giulia lucky for her win and claiming the others in the match—Sol, Zaria, and Stephanie—were just victims of the clock. While she gives credit to the division’s strength, Roxy is adamant: history will repeat itself, and Giulia will fall in LA just like before.

Before we can even breathe, CORA JADE storms in. She warns Giulia that she won’t even make it to New Year’s Evil and takes a cheap shot, pointing to the backstage area where Stephanie Vaquer has been ambushed. Chaos erupts as Giulia decks Roxy, but Cora retaliates with a bat, looking to take out the Iron Survivor.

KELANI JORDAN RUNS IN! She charges in, evening the odds and forcing Cora to flee. Kelani grabs the bat and stands tall with Giulia, showing that she’s tired of the games.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber catches up with Kelani and Giulia. Giulia is furious, shouting in Japanese, while Kelani delivers a fiery response: Roxy and Cora don’t run this division, and tonight, they’ll pay for their antics.

Charlie Dempsey approached the NQCC members, praising their gutsy performances at NXT Deadline. However, things quickly escalated when OTM walked in to mock them. Jaida and Wren nearly came to blows, with Dempsey stepping in to keep things from boiling over.

In another backstage moment, Sol Ruca and Zaria reflected on their Iron Survivor experience. Sol called it the most fun she’s had in a long time, while Zaria said she felt alive in the heat of the battle. Sol couldn’t help but laugh at her time spent in the penalty box, embracing the camaraderie of the division.

Enter Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, who weren’t impressed. Lash claimed Sol and Zaria had no shot at winning and doubled down on mocking Zaria. Sol defended her newfound respect for Zaria, but Jakara called it delusional to stand up for someone who wanted to rip her head off just 24 hours ago.

Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade vs. Giulia & Kelani Jordan

This one didn’t even wait for the bell! Roxy and Cora ambushed Giulia during her entrance, but Kelani came out swinging to level the playing field. The chaos spilled into the ring, where Giulia and Kelani showcased some slick teamwork to send the heels scrambling to the outside. Damn, that was awesome!

The match officially started with Kelani and Roxy. Kelani outmaneuvered Roxy early with quick armdrags and a wristlock before tagging in Giulia, who made her presence known with a hard-hitting style. When Cora distracted Giulia, Roxy took advantage, and the tide shifted as the heels isolated Giulia.

Kelani got the hot tag after a PIP break and exploded into action, taking out both Roxy and Cora with high-flying moves. The crowd was electric as she connected with a handspring splash and a picture-perfect dropkick.

The match hit its peak when Giulia and Roxy went toe-to-toe in a striking battle. A belly-to-back suplex from Giulia set up Kelani for a frog splash that nearly sealed the win—if not for Cora breaking it up.

The finish came after chaos broke loose. Giulia and Roxy brawled to the back, leaving Kelani to fend off Cora. A slick counter from Cora led to her signature DDT for the win.

Winners: Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade

Just when it seemed like Cora and Roxy would bask in their victory, STEPHANIE VAQUER IS BACK! Her music hits, and she sneaks up behind Cora, landing a brutal headbutt. Vaquer snaps Cora’s bat in half (!!!) and chases her into the crowd.
