Hazuki advances.
On the June 6 episode of AEW Collision, Hazuki defeated CMLL Women’s Champion Persephone to advance in the Owen Hart Cup. This means that Hazuki will be facing Mercedes Moné in the quaterfinals. Moné was the wildcard when she returned to AEW after a six month absence and defeated Alex Windsor on Dynamite.
The other side of the bracket has Athena waiting to see who she will be facing. Athena defeated Mina Shirakawa in the first round. She will take on either Skye Blue or Sareee. Skye Blue and Sareee battle this Wednesday on Dynamite,
Moné attacked Persephone post match. It was Persephone who took the CMLL belt off of Moné. Hazuki attempted to help but Moné went after her as well.
