IMPACT has officially announced that they are moving to Thursday nights starting on April 8. The company just made the official announcement on social media. The show has been on Tuesday nights since 2019.
This announcement comes on the heels that WWE’s NXT will be making a jump from Wednesday nights to Tuesday. This would obviously eliminate the competition between NXT and AEW’s Dynamite which have both been on Wednesday night since Dynamite premiered.
Although it hasn’t been made official, reports show the move for NXT to be taking place after WrestleMania on April 13. This would make the last showing for NXT on Wednesday night the first night of TakeOver: Stand & Deliver on April 7. It will be staying on the USA Network.
PWInsider is reporting that NXT’s production schedule for April is showing the show on Tuesday nights moving forward.
WWE hasn’t officially announced the move for NXT as of the time of this writing.
