Japanese Legend Bull Nakano making rare North American appearance

Japanese wrestling legend, Bull Nakano will be making a rare North American appearance this summer. First, she will have a seminar in London, Ontario, Aug. 9. She will also make an appearance Aug, 10 in Toronto, Ontario.

Bull Nakano was once upon a time a part of the World Wrestling Federation in the 1990’s. Before there were women such as Chyna, Beth Phoenix, Awesome Kong, and Nia Jax there was one woman that struck fear in their opponent’s eyes and that was Nakano. She is a former WWF Women’s Champion after defeating her rival Alundra Blayze in Tokyo, Japan in 1994. She retired in 1997 due to injuries.

Thanks to a press release provided by RISE Wrestling, the following information has been provided for the seminar:

Bull Nakano will be the facilitator of a World Class Development Seminar presented by the Chicago based RISE – Developing Tomorrow’s Women Athletes taking place at Tyson Dux Wrestling Factory in London, Ontario.

The Seminar is open to all trained and active women wrestlers. Standouts could possibly receive an opportunity to perform at the Meet and Greet at The Summit Aug. 10 in Toronto. Cost for this Seminar is $80 ($USD).

Aug. 10, fans will be able to get autographs and have photos taken with Bull Nakano at the Meet and Greet prior to The Summit, the collaborative Women’s Wrestling event promoted by SHIMMER, Femmes Fatales, Smash Wrestling and RISE.

There will be a Meet and Greet starting at 9 a.m. with a $10 ($CAD) entry fee. The Meet and Greet will feature at least two additional matches as well as all talents from the event available selling photos and other merchandise.

Further information about the event can be found as follows:

Fans looking to purchase tickets to the Meet and Greet and Live Event at The Summit can do so at http://ticketscene.ca/smash. VIP Options for Bull Nakano Meet and Greet are available at risedtwa.ticketleap.com.

She is a multi-time champion. Her championships other than WWF’s include many from the All Japan Women’s Pro-Wrestling promotion. Nakano first appeared on the RISE promotion back in 2017. She served as a facilitator and a heel manager.
