Liv Morgan Pins Sonya Deville in Six-Woman Raw Main Event

Tonight’s Raw had a huge six-woman main event that incorporated three storylines into the match.

Earlier in the night, Adam Pearce booked the match by telling Sonya Deville that she would be stripped of her authority for the night. Deville is being looked into by the higher-ups on her abuse of power after changing her match stipulations with Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair last week on multiple occasions.

The match set was Belair, Morgan, and the returning Asuka facing Deville, Rhea Ripley, and Becky Lynch. This was Asuka’s first match back in nine months after her return to confront Lynch last week.

The bout came down to Deville on the ring apron as Asuka was in the ring. Unbeknownst to Deville, Morgan hit a blind tag on Asuka making her the legal competitor. Asuka rushed towards Deville and hit her with the hip attack knocking her to the floor. Before Deville hit the floor, however, Morgan was on the outside with a Codebreaker.

Morgan rolls Deville back into the ring and goes for a pin but was broken up by Lynch. All six women are back in the ring and hit a move before Deville dumps Belair outside the ring. Morgan and Deville trade near falls with a roll up. Deville with a knee strike and goes for the pin only to get a two.

Deville attempted to steal a victory for her team with her feet on the ropes after Morgan misses. The referee caught her and Belair knocks Deville’s feet off the rope. Still the legal woman, Morgan hits ObLIVion to get the pin and the win for her team.

Morgan, Asuka, and Belair celebrate as Raw goes off the air.
