The word ”finally” cannot be stressed enough for the return of Liv Morgan. On tonight’s RAW, a video montage of the former Riott Squad member was aired with an ending that stated “Liv Morgan Makeover Coming Soon.”
The last time anyone saw Morgan on television was in July when she had a match against Charlotte Flair. For this match she was still using the Riott Squad’s entrance although they had since parted ways. After her loss in that match she would grab the headset of Corey Graves and state, “When I come back I am going to be real” hinting at a change of her look/gimmick.
It has been five months since she has uttered that statement and fans are still waiting. That match against Flair was also the first time Morgan was used since WrestleMania where she participated in the Women’s Battle Royal that Carmella won.
During her absence, she has been active on social media sending out cryptic tweets and even showing her signature pink hair being cut.
The Riott Squad broke up after WrestleMania due to the Superstar Shake-Up. Ruby Riott has been out of action due to surgery, but Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan have been barely used. Logan had a match during the summer, has been frequent on Main Event, and was a member of Team RAW at Survivor Series.
Morgan hasn’t been utilized at all. She was originally moved to SmackDown but thanks to the most recent Draft in October she is back on the red brand.
With a portion of the RAW women’s roster out of action, Liv’s return is well overdue.
Hopefully this makeover won’t end up being another Emmalina moment.
