There are only a couple of shows left before the Royal Rumble which is taking place one week from Sunday.
At this time there has been little build-up for the Royal Rumble match itself. As far as the SmackDown Women’s Championship, Bayley has had her hands full with Lacey Evans for a number of weeks. It hasn’t been made official yet but there is still a chance this match will be booked for the pay-per-view.
Last week Evans was supposed to face Sasha Banks in a one-on-one match. Banks was a no show which caused Evans to chase down Bayley backstage which ended in a fight between the two. WWE is announcing the Evans vs. Banks match again for tonight’s show.
