Masha Slamovich Pins Jacy Jayne Ahead Of Slammiversary

One woman is going to walk out of TNA’s Slammiversary as a double champion, and heading into it, Masha Slamovich has a leg up.

On the July 15 episode of NXT, Slamovich appeared at the start of the show to confront Jayne and the rest of Fatal Influence. Luckily, Slamovich had some back up in the form of ZaRuca. This turned into a six woman match for the main event.

With ZaRuca having a feud with The Culling’s Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley, this spilled out from the on going match, as the two teams fought to the back. This left Slamovich alone in a three on one situation. This was no worries for the Knockouts Champion who would hit a Northen Lights Bomb on the NXT Women’s Champion to get the three count. If Slamovich can do that this Sunday, she will be the one walking away with both titles.

Elsewhere on NXT this week, the fall out from Evolution was prevalent. Jordynne Grace was on a rampage to find Blake Monroe after Monroe costed her the match against Jayne on Sunday. Grace, full of rage, caused a no contest during an Evolve Women’s Title match as she came in and took out the competitors. It was the champion Kali Armstrong taking on Karmen Petrovic. Grace demand Monroe who was not present at the show according to Stevie Turner and Robert Stone. Monroe had a video appear on screen announcing she will return next week and have her official first match on NXT. Grace continued to be enraged and took out both Turner and Stone. Ava and security appeared to get control of the situation.

It was later confirmed by Wren Sinclair that she will be Monroe’s opponent next week.

The Family seems to be no more as Tony D’Angelo defeated Stacks and Luca in a Triple Threat Family Business match. Where will this leave Adrianna Rizzo?

Lash Legend had a backstage interview where she was glowing about her second place finish in the women’s Battle Royal at Evolution. She said she will he watching Jayne vs. Slamovich and wants first dibs of whoever takes it all. Jaida Parker appeared wanting the same thing. And although Parker didn’t last as long in the Battle Royal, she had a good showing.
