Former NXT UK Women’s Champion and wrestling great, Meiko Satomura, has returned to the United States. Satomura has been photographed with Jordynne Grace and Giulia. These photos have circulated on social media. Satomura’s last appearance in NXT was at Roadblock in 2023 where she lost to Roxanne Perez.
Satomura is approaching the end of her in-ring career as she will be retiring next month in April with the Sendai Girls promotion. A report from Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has shed some light on Satomura being in the United States. He states that she is currently scheduled to be in attendance at the upcoming NXT Roadblock event on March 11. It hasn’t been confirmed if she will be part of the show, but Fightful did confirm Plantera Wrestling’s report that the Title vs. Title match between Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer will be the main event of the show.
The Final Boss has finished up her matches in the United Kingdom and has had several requests from indie wrestling companies to book her in the United States but these have been rejected. Her retirement match for Sendai Girls will be on April 29. She is scheduled for a TJPW promotion appearance today, March 8.
Satomura has remained on the WWE roster despite not wrestling for the company since 2023.
