Tonight at the All Women Event, the CMLL had a multi-women tag team elimination match to determine one of the contenders for the vacant CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Championship.
First representing their teams, Taya Valkyrie, Hera, Johnnie Robbie, and Skadi competed in a mini battle royal to determine the order of the match. Taya and Hera were the ones eliminated so their teams face off first.
Taya and Frost pinned the sister duo of Hera and Olympia to advance to the final of this match. While the Mexican National Women’s Tag Team Champions Skadi and Kira won over Viva Van and Johnnie Robbie.
At the end they were able to pin the national tag champions and in her big return to México (and CMLL debut) Taya, along with Lady Frost, was able to win the match and will participate in a match for the vacant CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Finally, in the main event of the night, the CMLL champ defeated fan favorite Persephone in a great match.
Both wrestlers gave their all, but it was Zeuxis who was able to be victorious with a spiral tap.
