Naomi and Cameron Talk Being Kid Friendly, How the Term “Funkadactyl” Was Born

Total Divas stars and self-proclaimed Funkadactyls Cameron and Naomi were recently interviewed by JMG Magazine, talking about what sets them apart from other Divas and how the word Funkadactyl was born.

Cameron claims that being a Diva means your the “full package”: brains, athleticism and beauty. She says Divas are hybrids that can do and conquer “pretty much anything.”

As for what sets the two of them apart from the other Divas, Naomi says that they’re more kid friendly, dancing during their entrance. She says the crowd has fun when they’re out there.

The Funkadactyl name was spun off from Brodus Clay‘s Funkasaurus moniker, shared Cameron. They just incorporated the word funk with another type of dinosaur and poof – the Funkadactyls were born!

Naomi says moving from Orlando to Tampa was tough, as it was the first time she was away from her family. While she admits it was hard in the beginning, she says she had “the whole way.”
