WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was originally planned for the Feb. 20 episode of Raw. Until she wasn’t.
In a report from Fightful Select, a major segment was originally planned for a huge return from Stratus. She was set to return during the Ding Dong, Hello! segment with Bayley and the rest of Damage CTRL. That didn’t end up happening. Instead, Becky Lynch and Lita interrupted the segment and challenge Dakota Kai & IYO SKY for the tag team titles. That match is booked for next week.
Details are said to be few so far, but it was confirmed to Fightful that Trish was indeed the original plan and in fact, she was physically present at the show in Ottawa but left before the segment happened. When Fightful tried to find out more information they were simply told, “creative change.”
