WrestleMania is here! Will Stratusfaction be delivered? Will Snooki serve up some ‘Jersey’? Or will Lay-Cool prove to be flawless? The Diva Dirt team weigh in…
April: I am going to have to say that this WeestleMania is going to be the year of the brunettes. Trish Stratus, Snooki & John Morrison are going to take the win on this one. WWE wouldn’t hype up the return of a class act Diva and the addition of a “celebrity” if they couldn’t win it. Plus, on the experience side, I think Trish has it. You mix her with the crazy in-ring style of Morrison and it is bound to be fantastic. I love Lay-Cool and Dolph Ziggler but I have a feeling they’re going fall victim to the power of the Snook this time.
Mr Glamazon’s friend Jamie attended WrestleReunion in Atlanta earlier today and sent in the following news and notes:
* Lita and Mickie James were drawing the largest amount of interest for the females.
* “I waited about 30 minutes for Lita,” says Jamie. She was late because she went to the wrong Marriott.
I think I perform well under pressure. The SATs? Nailed ’em. Wedding vows? Remembered ’em. Kids? Raising ’em. Ring announcing? Introduced ’em (and didn’t fall down). Now I realize that before this trip to Atlanta I didn’t know the first thing about pressure. But after Axxess this past Thursday I am now a resident expert.
One photo. That’s what you get. One photo. You screw it up and there are no do-overs, no second chances. One shot. A few years ago I was hoping for the perfect picture with Beth and thankfully I kept my eyes open and it all worked out. But even if it didn’t I knew I would be OK (and just go buy Photoshop). But this one wasn’t about me. Oh no. This time I was the one holding the camera.
Mr Glamazon’s friend Jamie spotted and took a picture with Amy ‘Lita‘ Dumas today at WrestleReunion.

Three well-remembered former WWE Divas will be hosting a live after show for WWE’s Tough Enough beginning tomorrow night.
Candice Michelle, Lilian Garcia and Torrie Wilson will host the Tough Enough After Show for AfterbuzzTV every Monday night.
The show will be streamed via Ustream and airs its first episode at midnight tomorrow following the premiere of Tough Enough on USA Network.
The following week, the show will move to 11.15pm ET.
The ladies will have regular guests on each week, beginning with Tommy Dreamer on tomorrow night’s debut show.
Thoughts: This sounds like a really fun concept that will give fans even more viewing on Monday nights! Look forward to checking out the first episode. Don’t forget, former Tough Enough champion Jackie Haas joins Diva Dirt’s coverage of Tough Enough with a weekly blog next week.
Diva Dirt reader Michael B. attended last night’s Remix Pro Wrestling show in Marietta, OH, which featured Madison Rayne vs Sara Del Rey. The show was supposed to feature a dream match between Del Rey and Mickie James, but due to her separated shoulder at a TNA house show a few weeks ago, James was unable to compete.
Results below:
Brie & Nikki Bella
To match their attitudes, the Bellas are wearing black dresses. To show a slight difference in personality, their styles are different: Nikki’s sporting a tighter dress, messy hair and leopard print tights while Brie’s dress has a fuller, frillier skirt and her tights are solid. It shows that they’ve put some thought into their outfits and I like that. After all, they don’t have to be clones of each other, even if they are both heels. Their poses are more serious and seductive, and it makes the photos look much less staged–I think I’m so used to them doing cutesy twin poses that I’m surprised at how interesting a photo with them just standing next to each other can be. They let their personalities show. When I’ve complained about their more gimmicky photoshoots, this was what I was asking for: simplicity. Here, the Bellas show that they’re more than capable of making ‘simple’ look interesting.

Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn looks perfectly relaxed and comfortable in her poses, but perhaps too comfortable. They’re not very diverse, and make for a rather dull photoshoot. Wearing a frilly top and leopard print skirt was probably an effort to bring interest to the shoot, but it’s not enough. There’s just an obvious lack of personality in the photos, and while that may be due to the fact that Kaitlyn hasn’t really developed a character, this photoshoot is just rather lifeless. It reminds me of the early photoshoots from Kaitlyn’s fellow NXT rookies: pretty, but boring. I know she’s capable of pulling off interesting shoots, because her first full WWE photoshoot as a Diva had me hooked. This one must be her sophomore slump.

Diva Dirt’s Cryssi is our correspondent at the annual Hall of Fame ceremony taking place tonight in Atlanta. Some early notes:
* Eve Torres and Kelly Kelly are on inductee ‘arm candy’ duty, bringing out the Hall of Famers to the stage.
* Lay-Cool sitting together.
Some more exclusive snaps from Axxess this past week sent in by David.
As previously noted, Wendi Richter was at Axxess yesterday signing autographs and looked fantastic. David noted that was incredibly personable.
Also at Axxess yesterday was none other than Snooki, signing copies of her New York Times bestselling book. (Seriously! She’s a bestseller!)
Last night’s first ever Diva Dirt fan party was a huge success!
Lots of DD readers stopped by at the Hard Rock Cafe in Atlanta yesterday to meet up with David, Cryssi and other Diva fans. A big thank you to everyone who came out.
Some notes and pictures from the party after the jump!
ROH’s second iPPV this afternoon features SHIMMER Tag Team Champions Tomoka Nakagawa and Daizee Haze defending against Ayumi Kurihara and Hiroyo Matsumoto.
The Embassy come out and Prince Nana says he and Princess Mia have come all the way from Ghana. He calls her the prettiest woman in the world. Nana introduces the newest member of the Embassy — Dave Taylor.
Former WWE Women’s Champion, Amy ‘Lita‘ Dumas announced on Twitter that she will be at WrestleMania 27 Fan Axxess today.
She wrote: “Headed over to the Georgia Dome for Fan Axxcess to broadcast live with Project 96-1 WKLS. Come find me!”
Dumas lives in Atlanta, but up until now hadn’t been announced for any WWE events. I wouldn’t be surprised if Amy is at the Hall of Fame tonight or backstage at ‘Mania tomorrow.
Perhaps also interestingly, Trish Stratus mentioned in our interview that she’s working on doing something very cool this coming Monday on Raw. Pure speculation on my part, but Trish & Lita vs Lay-Cool would certainly fit the bill!
Brian Fritz has interviews with Natalya and Sunny from earlier in the week.
Natalya really has some wonderful words for Trish Stratus, citing her as the reason she wanted to become a WWE Diva. Watch that interview below:
ROH presents its second Internet pay per view in as many days live at 1pm ET on GoFightLive.tv.
Set for today’s show is a SHIMMER Tag Team Championship match, marking the first time the belts have been defended in ROH. Champions Daizee Haze and Tomoka Nakagawa defend against Ayumi Kurihara and Hiroyo Matsumoto.
ROH set the scene for this match on last night’s iPPV when Nakagawa spat water in Ayumi’s face following the latter team’s victory over Sara Del Rey and Serena. Results from that show here.
Also on today’s show will be Princess Mia and the Embassy accompanying Tomasso Ciampa for his match with Homicide.
Check back later for full coverage!
Perhaps one of the most memorable moments in WrestleMania Diva history… who can forget Molly Holly having her head shaved bald in 2004?
Relive it below:
ROH presents two live iPPVs from Atlanta today and tomorrow. Tonight, Ayumi Kurihara and Hiroyo Matsumoto take on Sara Del Rey and Serena Deeb.
Princess Mia spotted during the Four Corner Survival match. She and the Embassy are accompanying Tomasso Ciampa.

Entertainment Weekly has an exclusive clip from the upcoming revival of Tough Enough featuring Miss USA, Rima Fakih, learning to take a bump.
Up until now only promos have been released, but this first piece of footage from the show gives viewers an idea of how the show will look and feel.

I don’t know about you but that clip sold the show to me. I’m officially excited!
Recent WWE signing Awesome Kong arrived today in Atlanta for WrestleMania festivies, reports the Wrestling Observer.
Though it is possible that she could debut in the coming days, it’s equally possible that she won’t. WWE usually brings in all main roster talent to WrestleMania, and considering that Kong isn’t being sent to developmental she constitutes as main roster talent.
Also on hand for WrestleMania weekend will be the Tough Enough contestants.
