A number one contender match is booked for next week’s NWA Powerrr to determine who faces the champion Kamille next. Kamille is quickly approaching 400-days as champion with her sitting at 395-days at the time of this writing.
Off of her first championship match in the company, KiLynn King hopes to get another shot at the gold as she will be going one-on-one with Allysin Kay. King faced off against Kamille at Alwayz Ready and despite an impressive showing, couldn’t get the win.
Kay is a former NWA World Women’s Champion herself. She held the Burke in 2019 and dropped it to Thunder Rosa in January 2020. She recently had a run as NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Marti Belle. They lost the gold to Pretty Empowered in June.
Also on this week’s Powerrr a tag team match took place. Max the Impaler teamed up with Chelsea Green as they defeated Jennacide & Missa Kate.
