NWA Women’s Tag Team Title Match Set For Women’s Wrestling Army

Women’s Wrestling Army (WWA) is set for its first show this weekend on May 1.

The promotion owned by Maria Kanellis Bennett has confirmed that the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championships will be defended. The champions, The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle), will be taking on the team of Willow Nightingale & Holidead.

NWA reinstated the women’s tag belts for the first time since 1984 last August during its all-women’s EmPowerrr event. The Hex won a tournament to be crowned the first champions since the gold returned. They have held the titles for 244-days and counting. Could Nightingale and Holidead dethrone The Hex and become new champs?

Another big match for the event will be the Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz taking on the AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Taya Valkyrie.
