One week removed from NXT’s New Year’s Evil and Mandy Rose is still the NXT Women’s Champion. She defeated Cora Jade and Raquel Gonzalez last week in a Triple Threat. Who will be next for a championship shot?
At the time of this writing, the only match confirmed for this evening was initiated last week when Indi Hartwell & Persia Pirotta confronted Kacy Catanzaro, Kayden Carter, and Amari Miller. The latter three challenge Hartwell & Pirotta for a six-woman tag match but they had to find a partner. Originally thinking of Tiffany Stratton who declined, Wendy Choo accepted once she woke up from her weekly nap. This will be Wendy’s first match under this gimmick.
Who Elektra Lopez walks out with tonight depends on who wins this match. She has been faithful to her family of Legado del Fantasma but confirmed last week that whoever wins between Santos Escobar and Xyon Quinn is who she will leave tonight.
Last week, the Dusty Tag Team Classic was confirmed for February. Hopefully, we will get to see some clues of what the brackets may look like shortly.
