This week’s NXT 2.0 has a lot to cover.
First, there is the fallout between the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions from last week that needs to be addressed. Roxanne Perez cashed in her Breakout Tournament contract to face Mandy Rose in the main event to try and become a double champ. Perez was attacked in the parking lot at the beginning of the show and still showed up to the match. Just when she potentially had Rose where she wanted her, Perez’s own partner, co-champ, and best friend Cora Jade attacked her from behind. Rose would get the pin and continue her reign as champ.
Tonight, there is a 20-woman Battle Royal set to take place. Perez is not included in the participant list but Jade is. Who is going to become Rose’s next opponent and will there be any shenanigans before the match takes place?
And what does Jade’s attack on Perez mean for the tag team titles? We should find out tonight.
The feud between Alba Fyre and Lash Legend is heating up. Legend lost a match to Indi Hartwell last week thanks to a distraction by Fyre. Both will be in the Battle Royal tonight.
