NXT Iron Survivor Challenge Participants Confirmed

On the Nov. 29 episode of NXT, WWE Hall of Famers Alundra Blayze, Molly Holly, Road Dogg, and X-Pac assisted Shawn Michaels in announcing the five women who will be in the upcoming Iron Survivor Challenge. The match will be taking place at NXT Deadline on Dec. 10. The winner will become the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship.

After the Hall of Famers went over their options, four of the five women have been decided. The names selected are Zoey Stark, Cora Jade, Roxanne Perez, and Kiana James. The fifth woman will be determined in a wild card match next week. The participants for the wild card match are Wendy Choo, Fallon Henley, and Indi Hartwell who will fight for the last spot in the Iron Survivor Challenge in a Triple Threat.

This week’s NXT held three women’s matches, all of which at decent lengths. The show kicked off with Roxanne Perez taking on Indi Hartwell. Hartwell has made it personal with Perez as she no longer trusts anyone in the locker room anymore. Perez would go on to win the match with Pop Roxs.

The second match was between Kiana James and Fallon Henley. James picked up the victory with the 401K. This clearly impressed the Hall of Famers who put her in the upcoming Iron Survivor Challenge. The six-woman tag match would be the last woman’s match of the night. It wasn’t originally set for the main event, but was moved to that spot after Nikkita Lyons was taken out by Zoey Stark during her entrance.

The main event then was the six-woman tag which was the Toxic Attraction taking on the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Kayden Carter and Katana Chance along with Lyons. Lyons still participated even though her knee was bandaged up from the attack earlier by Stark.

The match would break down to Lyons being isolated in the ring by herself with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. Lyons tried to hold her own but her knee buckled and Dolin and Jayne were able to hit their tag team finisher. Dolin got the pin on Lyons.

After the match, all three members of Toxic Attraction celebrated on the ramp as Stark stood on the far stage smiling at the defeat of Lyons. Chance and Carter consoled Lyons as NXT went off the air.

Other women on the show included Elektra Lopez who had some words for Hartwell and a vignette aired for Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre’s rivalry. Thea Hail, Ivy Nile, and Tatum Paxley also appeared on the show.
