The launch of the fall TV season had a big effect on last night’s NXT season three rating, despite being the best episode thus far in the season. The show scored a 0.81 cable rating with 1,050,000 viewers reports PWInsider.
That is way down from last week’s 1.01 rating. It should be noted that Monday’s Raw also took a big hit, falling below the 3.0 mark as WWE faces stiffer competition with networks rolling out new seasons of hit shows and new shows in general.
NXT’s competition in the 10pm hour last night included the two hour season premiere of NCIS: Los Angeles on CBS, the series premiere of Detroit 1-8-7 on ABC, and Parenthood on NBC.
