Paxley’s Reign Begins, Jordan Stands Tall, and Gray Retains!

NXT aired live from the Performance Center, just days removed from Halloween Havoc. The aftershocks were immediate: Tatum Paxley stood tall as the new NXT Women’s Champion, Blake Monroe captured the North American gold, and crossover intrigue brewed with TNA’s Kelani Jordan defending her Knockouts Title against Jordynne Grace. It was a night built on statement victories and uneasy alliances.

Ava’s office opened the show as WWE Women’s Speed Champion Sol Ruca arrived with Zaria by her side. Ruca revealed she’s out of the crutch but still rehabbing—and made the tough call to vacate her title. Rather than appoint a stand-in, she declared the division deserves a fighting champion. Zaria stormed off in frustration, leaving Ruca resolute but empty-handed.

The Culling is out next, led by the new NXT Women’s Champion, Tatum Paxley! Paxley stroad to the ring to a roaring “You deserve it!” chant. Paxley’s first promo as champion blended pride with self-awareness:

“If this creepy little weirdo can be NXT Champion, anyone can.”

Izzi Dame interrupted, congratulating Paxley but insisting title shots must be earned. Paxley disagreed and brought back the Wheel of Contenders. With names spinning, Shawn Spears pointed out Dame’s absence on the list, prompting Paxley to admit she’d never fight her friend. The wheel landed on Lola Vice, confirming tonight’s main event.

Evolve Women’s Championship: Kendal Gray (c) vs. Lash Legend

Gray opened with aggression, shooting for an ankle lock, but Lash Legend muscled out, tossing her around like a rag doll. Gray tried chaining quick roll-ups for twos before Legend cut her off with a pump kick that nearly sent her to the parking lot.

After the break, Legend dominated until Gray strung together a comeback—forearm, dropkick, and a picture-perfect springboard double stomp. Legend tried to regroup outside, but Gray DDT’d her on the floor, climbed up, and nailed another aerial attack. Legend attempted another pump kick, missed, and got planted with Shades of Gray for the three-count.

Winner: Kendal Gray (retains)

Gray celebrated with Wren Sinclair, while Legend fumed at ringside.

Vice congratulated Paxley, briefly, but made it clear she planned to dethrone her tonight. Paxley fired back that she fought too hard to lose that quickly. Izzi Dame arrived moments later, tension thick between all three.

NXT Women’s Championship: Tatum Paxley (c) vs. Lola Vice

Vice started fast with chain wrestling and an armbar attempt. Paxley powered out with a dropkick and running splash, but Vice’s agility kept her in it. Just as momentum shifted, an inset showed Fatal Influence arriving.

At ringside, chaos erupted, Jacy Jayne blindsided Izzi Dame, while Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley joined in, tossing Dame into the barricade. Fatal Influence surrounded the ring, swarming both competitors. The referee had no choice but to call it.

Jayne punctuated the ambush with a Rolling Encore, leaving Paxley down and Vice seething.

Result: No Contest

The message was loud and clear, Fatal Influence runs the division on their time.

Chelsea Green and Ethan Page, fresh off Page’s North American Championship defense, shared an awkwardly comedic backstage moment. Alba Fyre loomed silently as Green lamented her struggle to find the right “Slaygent.” Cue Thea Hail endorsing Joe Hendry, who promptly popped out of a trashcan, terrifying Green. Hilarious as always!

In a bubble-bath visual straight out of a villain origin reel, the new NXT Women’s North American Champion promised to “take everything and make it mine.” She’ll defend the title next in New York City. Booker T applauded the attitude; Vic Joseph plugged the upcoming Gold Rush episodes on November 18 and 25.

Kelly Kincaid caught Zaria and Ruca backstage. Zaria announced her entry into the upcoming Speed Tournament before Fatal Influence hijacked the camera. Jacy Jayne vowed revenge on Paxley, Dame, and Vice next week.

TNA Knockouts World Championship: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Jordynne Grace

The bell rang, and Grace immediately grounded the high-flying champion. Jordan fought free, disrespectfully slapping Grace across the face, sparking a brawl. Grace’s Thesz Press answered back, but Jordan’s targeted leg work shifted momentum.

After the break, Grace hit an Alabama Slam but couldn’t capitalize. Jordan countered a power bomb with a chop block, then nearly stole it with a split-legged cutter. Grace rallied with a spinebuster and lariat combo, but Jordan’s agility saved her.

The finish saw Trick Williams and Ricky Saints brawling down the aisle, distracting the ref. Jordan grabbed her title belt, smashed Grace with it, and scored the pinfall as the official missed the cheating.

Winner and STILL TNA Knockouts World Champion: Kelani Jordan

NXT continues to walk the tightrope between chaos and opportunity. Paxley’s reign begins under fire, Fatal Influence reasserts dominance, Kendal Gray proves she’s no fluke, and Kelani Jordan keeps her gold by any means necessary. Sound off in the comments below!
