Sol Ruca is now no belts Sol.
Ruca lost her NXT Women’s North American Championship at Halloween Havoc over the weekend. Since she has an injury, she wasn’t able to defend the belt but Zaria did for her. Zaria lost the match and Blake Monroe became the new champion.
On the Oct. 27 episode of NXT, Ava gave Ruca the option to relinquish or have Zaria defend the Women’s Speed Title for her. Ava said Ruca’s recovery is going well but there is no time table for her to be cleared. Ruca is off her crutch but still requires a knee brace. Much to the disappointment of Zaria, Ruca chose to relinquish the belt. This ends her reign at 200 days.
A tournament to decide the new champion will start next week.
