With only a couple of RAW’s left for 2020, tonight’s episode will see the fall out from the TLC pay-per-view. Charlotte Flair made her return at last night’s event. This was her first time back in the ring in six months.
Her return was as the mystery partner for Asuka, which was highly expected. The pair would defeat Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler to become the new Women’s Tag Team Champions. In the process, Flair has become a Grand Slam Champion and Asuka is now Asuka2Belts as she has been the RAW Women’s Champion.
It is being reported that Flair and Asuka will open RAW tonight as of this writing.
Other women for the show could involve the following:
Mandy Rose returned last night and helped Dana Brooke during her match against Shayna Baszler. Baszler and Nia Jax’s MO as of late is to do anything they can to destroy their opponents. Brooke was able to escape that last week from Rose’s return and then from the help of Asuka.
Peyton Royce hasn’t been utilized much lately. Royce has been seen in some Network Exclusives with Lacey Evans but hasn’t been highlighted since Survivor Series. She took to Twitter earlier today to say that she is tired of waiting for her opportunity. She is ready to take it.
Flair and Evans both responded to this tweet as follows:
As always, feel free to discuss this week’s RAW in the comment section below. There are a lot of good possibilities to happen tonight, however, the booking of the red brand has arguably been flat as of late.
