The match formerly announced as Athena and Billie Starkz versus Thunder Rosa and Persephone had a little bit of a change after Billie Starkz was not cleared to complete so the ROH Women’s World Television Champion Red Velvet stepped up to replace her.
After losing her opportunity at All In in her hometown, the forever champion vented her frustrations on her last standing minion and her new tag partner.
The Women’s tag match opened the show to a great reception from the crowd and between chants, cheers and boos the four women battle it out.
The babyfaces synced up as a team working together with different combo moves onto their opponents. and although the champions fought with all they had it was not enough to get the win after Thunder pinned Velvet with cradle pin.
As it was announced yesterday, Athena will defend Thunder Rosa for the ROH title at Supercard of Honor july 11th in Arlington Texas.
