Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez are set to brawl in a Street Fight this Saturday at Night of Champions.
Both women are heated because they screwed each other out of advancing in the Queen of the Ring tournament. First, it was Rodriguez who was a factor in Ripley losing her first round match to Roxanne Perez. Then, Ripley paid back the favor and was the reason Rodriguez lost her first round match to Asuka.
The two clashed this past Monday on Raw as Rodriguez put Ripley through a table with some assistance by Perez. On the Night of Champions Kick Off event on Friday, both women came face-to-face to lash out their issues. Rodriguez reminds everyone that it is always about Ripley but she wants to make sure it will be all about her when they tangle in the Street Fight on Saturday.
Michael Cole reminds fans that it was Rodriguez who defeated Ripley in a Last Woman Standing Match back in 2021 during their time in NXT. Rodriguez says that history will repeat itself. Ripley did win the last No Hold Barred match they had since. Ripley intends on putting Rodriguez through a table tomorrow night.
