Report: Plans Liv Morgan Was Involved In Prior To Injury

One half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Liv Morgan, was planned for a lot in the next couple of months prior to her injury. Morgan sustained a shoulder injury during her match with Kairi Sane over a week ago.

In a couple reports by both Fightful Select and Bodyslam.net, they mention what creative had in mind for her.

According to Fightful Select and what we saw on screen prior to her injury, Morgan was working with Nikki Bella, IYO SKY, Roxanne Perez, and the her tag team partner Raquel Rodriguez. In addition to that, there were plans to have her involved more in Perez’s ascent and the ongoing Judgment Day plans. She was also peripherally involved with Kairi Sane. There were about eight talent that she was factored in with including those.

Bodyslam.net states that Morgan was the planned opponent to SKY for the Women’s World Title at Night of Champions. She would have also faced Nikki Bella in some way at Evolution, whether singles or tag team depending on if Brie Bella would have joined Nikki. There was also a plan down the line to have a Morgan/Dominik Mysterio vs. Perez/Finn Balor match.

Morgan will be out for a number of months. It is being reported by PWInsider that Perez may now become Rodriguez’s tag team partner to keep the titles in Judgment Day for now.
