Rok-C is your new ROH Women’s World Champion.
In the final match of a 15-person tournament, Rok-C and Miranda Alize were the last two to fight it out for the new title. Maria Kanellis Bennett started Women’s Division Wednesday earlier this year and with that came a new focus to a women’s division for ROH. Throughout the summer a tournament took place and each match had revealed excellent talent, some currently with ROH and a lot of newcomers.
In a fantastic match between The Prodigy and the Lucha Baddie, it was the 19yo that won the gold. The match was very back and forth and either woman could have honestly taken the monumental win. Rok-C delivered a Code Red to get the three count. She celebrated with her family in the ring after she was presented the title from Maria.
At the beginning of the pre-show for this event, ROH did a 10 bell salute for Daffney with the talent surrounding the ring. You can view that at the beginning of the video below. Rok-C wore an armband during her match with Daffney’s name on it.
