Becky Lynch is back and she is the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.
At SummerSlam last Sunday, Lynch was a surprise return and replaced Sasha Banks who was originally scheduled to face Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Originally teased as Carmella taking Banks’ place, it was The Man’s music hitting that alerted the fans on who the challenger would actually be.
In a very controversial finish, Lynch defeated Belair in mere seconds after delivering a ManHandle Slam to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.
