Tonight’s SmackDown is the last show before this weekend’s Survivor Series event which will take place on Sunday, Nov. 21.
Aliyah made her in-ring debut for SmackDown last week and had a huge victory after pinning Natalya in a six-woman tag team match. She was originally set to take part of the traditional Survivor Series team for SmackDown but after her win, Sonya Deville removed her from the team. It is suggested that Deville removed Aliyah from the team because Naomi gave her an assist which helped her win the match last week.
What is known prior to the show starting tonight is that Sasha Banks will be facing Shotzi. A few weeks ago when Shotzi had a contenders match against SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, the help Banks was trying to give backfired. Shotzi ended up losing the match and then taking her anger out on Banks after the match. Tonight they go toe-to-toe. On Sunday they are part of the Survivor Series team along with Storm, Natalya, and Shayna Baszler.
Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch are set to compete at Survivor Series on Sunday in the traditional Champion vs. Champion match. They have not been in the same ring as one another since the title swap that went south. What final build will these two have heading into the weekend?
Xia Li vignettes keep saying coming soon. Will we see her tonight?
If you want to continue to watch more women’s wrestling after SmackDown you can watch either 205 Live or AEW’s Rampage.
205 Live will see the debut of Tiffany Stratton as she takes on Amari Miller. There will also be a tag team match between Kacy Catanzaro & Kayden Carter vs. Valentine Feroz & Yulisa Leon.
On Rampage the TBS Women’s Title Tournament Quarter-Finals continue as Red Velvet faces Jade Cargill.
As always, feel free to discuss the show in the comment section below and remember to be kind.
