Double Champ Sol!
After winning her first championship in WWE, the WWE Women’s Speed Champion this past Wednesday from Candice LeRae, Sol Ruca is now a double champion. She is the new NXT Women’s North American Champion as she snatched the sols of her competitors in a ladder match at Stand & Deliver. The other competitors in this match were Kelani Jordan, Izzi Dame, Lola Vice, Thea Hail, and Ruca’s tag team partner, Zaria. The title was vacant as Stephanie Vaquer was forced to relinquish the title as she is also the NXT Women’s Champion.
The final moments came down to the tag team partners at the top of the ladder right under the belt which was hanging above the ring. Ruca and Zaria both showed hesitancy in throwing blows, but they eventually did with Zaria at first getting the upper hand. Ruca’s athleticism proved important as she defeated five other women to capture the gold.
MVPs of the match were Dame and the inaugural Women’s North American Champion, Kelani. Kelani tried her hardest to become the first two-time champ, but in the end, it wasn’t enough for Lani.
