The next two weeks of NXT episodes are being taped and something that many fans have been waiting for is happening.
NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez has already had a few challengers since winning the title in early April at TakeOver Stand & Deliver against Io Shirai. Since then she has successful defended against Mercedes Martinez, Ember Moon, and most recently Xia Li.
So who is next?
Gonzalez stood in the ring and asked who was going to step up to her. No one answered the challenge and Dakota Kai stated that the champion is the most dominant champion. That sentiment comes along with the idea of Kai having her back.
The thing is, Kai no longer has her back. She kicks Gonzalez in the face, raises the championship belt in the air before tossing it on Gonzalez. She then exits the ring.
