At NJPW’s Wrestle Grand Slam, next weekend STARDOM matches will air live on NJPW World for the first time.
NJPW announced that STARDOM matches will take place at the super event in MetLife Dome. Initially, the matches were only be seen by the fans in attendance, but now they will available for the whole world to see on NJPW’s streaming service.
The wrestlers are yet to be revealed but it is another ground-breaking moment for the Joshi company.
The partnership between the two promotions began in 2019 when Bushi Road, which owns NJPW bought STARDOM.
A few months later the Joshi promotion was involved at Wrestle Kingdom 14. It was the first time a women’s wrestling match took place at the event.
The following year they continued the trend by showcasing two matches at Wrestle Kingdom 15.
The promotion is in the midst of their annual Five Star GT Tournament with the winner going onto challenge the champion of their choice.
