Stephanie Vaquer is still the NXT Women’s Champion as she walks out of Las Vegas with the W.
Vaquer took on three worthy opponents at Stand & Deliver on Saturday, where the odds were certainly not in her favor. Those opponents were Jaida Parker, Jordynne Grace, and the woman she took the title from, Giulia. Vaquer and Giulia received several moments throughout the match where it was one-on-one.
The final moments of the match witnessed Vaquer hitting a spiral tap to break up a pinfall by Parker on Giulia. Vaquer followed up with the SVB on Parker for the win.
After the match in a backstage moment, Roxanne Perez confronted the champion during her photo shoot.
The NXT General Manager Ava mentioned before Stand & Deliver started that the event had 18 women participating between the three matches. This was the first time ever in NXT history that a premium live event had more women than men on the card.
