Taynara Conti was one of the many wrestlers that were released by WWE last week. While the majority of those on the list have posted videos and messages on social media, Taynara had remained silent. Until now.
Taynara took to Twitter to announce that she has posted a video on YouTube in which she speaks about her love for wrestling and her drive to improve and be better. She also reveals her thoughts and feelings about leaving WWE, and how she is excited about what the future holds.
The video starts with Conti saying that the reason she left it until now to speak out was to take care of some “personal stuff” and her visa. She goes on to state that she happy, healthy, and “most important so excited for the future.”
Conti goes on to talk about working for WWE for nearly three and half years and it being “the most crazy and amazing opportunity” of her life and how she will always remain “grateful because WWE changed my life for the better.”
Conti would continue to tell how she arrived in WWE with no real wrestling experience and in just two years would be the first Brazilian wrestler to stand in a WrestleMania ring.
Taynara would go on to reveal that she requested her release from WWE two months ago because she was unhappy and needed more room to grow. If you remember there were reports that Conti had left the company back in January.
Conti then said the WWE were unable to grant her release and she had no option but to return. Conti returned to NXT in February for live events but she didn’t appear back on NXT television.
Taynara then talks about the shock of being released in the middle of the pandemic, but after figuring things out, she says she is “happy because I want to have good feelings about WWE in my heart and I will always have it.”
Taynara then explains how she fell in love with pro-wrestling and was always willing to learn and seek advice from her peers to improve and become better. She then goes on to say that she wants to wrestle for other companies and in Japan.
