Ten things to help AEW’s Women’s Division

4. Bigger names

Before people start shouting about building a division rather than relying on name value, I give you names like Chris Jericho and Jake Hagar as recognised names used to draw in viewers. There are wrestlers out there that have name value such as Mercedes Martinez, Tenille Dashwood and Meiko Satamura that AEW could sign on short or long term deals to add some big-name status to the division.

The news that Big Swole is now officially signed is a big step forward and proof that AEW is making the right signings to lift the division.

Kris Statlander could be another name joining if rumours are true. Statlander has had some impressive showings on AEW so far but no deal has been announced. In a similar situation, Jamie Hayter also made waves in AEW recently and both would be fantastic young talents and future stars to join the ranks of AEW.

Kelly Klein is soon to be a free agent after Ring of Honor unceremoniously ended new-deal negotiations. As 3-time Women of Honor Champion with legitimate badass credentials “The Gatekeeper” and would make a great addition to AEW.

The names are out there and available. They just need time, effort and exposure.
