Tessa Blanchard has punched her ticket to Bound For Glory as she qualifies for the X-Division Championship Ladder Match. Blanchard will join the champion, Jake Crist in a five-way battle. She is the first to qualify with the other three to be determined at a later date.
She advances by defeating Dave Crist from this week’s IMPACT! As always whenever Blanchard faces anyone from oVe the numbers game is always against her and this time was no different. She had to defeat Dave with his brother Jake at ringside along with Madman Fulton.
After having to fend off the outside interferences, she would hit the Buzzsaw DDT on Dave Crist to pick up the pin. The aftermath of the match saw the numbers game yet again becoming too much for Blanchard as Fulton would lay her out with not one, but two chokeslams.
Blanchard was unable to go against Brian Cage for the IMPACT World Championship at Bound For Glory. She would lose her opportunity at Unbreakable to Sami Callihan. Perhaps this is her chance to change history by becoming X-Division Champion?
