The Coven Capture Knockouts Tag Team Titles On IMPACT

A title change was written in the cards for this week’s IMPACT Wrestling.

In the featured Knockouts bout of the evening, Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary represented Death Dollz as they defended their Knockouts World Tag Team Championship against The Coven’s Taylor Wilde and KiLynn King.

King and Valkyrie started the bout, renewing their history from NWA. Things escalated when Rosemary bit Wilde, but Death Dollz managed to clear the ring. After the commercial break, Wilde fell victim to Valkyrie’s offense briefly. That all changed, though, when King came in and planted Valkyrie on her face for the three-count.

Earlier in the night, Jai Vidal took on Johnny Swinger. When Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans were ejected from ringside, Deonna Purrazzo ran down to attack them both until security intervened. As a result, Purrazzo vs. Evans has been booked for next week’s show ahead of Purrazzo and Shaw’s rematch at Sacrifice.

We also know that next week’s IMPACT will include Mickie James and Tommy Dreamer vs. Masha Slamovich and Bully Ray. James seemed apprehensive about Dreamer facing Bully 24 hours before Sacrifice, but Jordynne Grace appeared to remind Mickie that she also has to go through Masha 24 hours before their rematch.
