The Hex (Allysin Kay & Marti Belle) are the next women to strap on their boots as they are confirmed for the upcoming inaugural event for the Women’s Wrestling Army (WWA) promotion. Trish Adora has already been confirmed for the event.
The current NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions will be joining the promotion that is being owned and operated by Maria Kanellis Bennett who has also brought in Bobby Cruise. Both Maria and Cruise worked diligently to build up the ROH women’s division before its hiatus at the end of 2021.
Kanellis Bennett confirmed she will be working with Cruise on this project and also issued a press release about the promotion. In it, Maria promises “names you know” to be part of the promotion. It also confirms that this project is a total separate outlet that the duo is working on and they are still active in other wrestling businesses. Maria has been working with IMPACT Wrestling at this time and recently stated she has briefly talked to Tony Khan about ROH. Cruise is working
