On IMPACT’s Sacrifice event on Saturday, The Influence became the NEW Knockouts World Tag Team Champions by defeating The IInspiration. This ends The IInspiration’s reign at 133-days which made the duo the longest reigning champions since the titles were reinstated in 2021.
The battle between these two teams has been long-awaited for the past two months. Originally supposed to battle at Hard to Kill in January and then once again on an episode of IMPACT, the two teams finally went at it.
Over the past number of weeks, The Influence member Kaleb with a K has been seemingly preoccupied with The IInspiration. So much so that Tenille Dashwood and Madison Rayne haven’t been fairing well in their matches. Cassie Lee defeated Rayne on this past week’s show to get some momentum heading into this title match.
This time, however, Kaleb would prove to be loyal to his team and assist them with their win. After Dashwood hit the Spotlight Kick for a near fall on Lee, Kaleb tossed in the Knockouts Tag Team belt in the ring for Dashwood to utilize. She hits Lee over the head with the belt to score the pinfall.
This title win is huge for Dashwood and is history-making for Rayne. This is Dashwood’s first gold in IMPACT! She has been with the company since 2019 and is long overdue. Rayne winning tag team gold makes her three-time champion with three different partners. She now holds the record as the Knockout to have held the title the most amount of times.

Also at Sacrifice, Lady Frost took on Gisele Shaw on the Countdown to Sacrifice pre-show. The two had battled once before with Shaw taking the victory. This time, Frost received some retribution as she picked up the win after hitting Frostbite and delivering Shaw’s first loss in IMPACT! in the process.
