Thekla remains the AEW Women’s World Champion coming out of Double or Nothing. The toxic spider faced three former champions in a four-way that included Kris Statlander, Jamie Hayter, and Hikaru Shida.
Heading into the match, Shida and Statlander had a rocky tag team which showed in this match. The final moments had Shida sent to the outside by Thekla as she focused on Statlander to get the pin.
During the pre-show, the AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions, Divine Dominion, defeated Viva Van and Zayda Steel. TayJay emerged post match to chase the champs away.
An interview later showed that TayJay are ready to get some gold.
