Toni Storm vs. Penelope Ford Set For Sept. 7 Dynamite

Coming off of her big win and being crowned Interim AEW Women’s World Champion, Toni Storm will face off against Penelope Ford on this week’s Dynamite. Storm defeated three other women in a Four-way bout at All Out on Sunday where she pinned Jamie Hayter to win. That match also included Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida.

Storm vs. Ford is considered an Eliminator Match which means if Ford wins she can earn a future title shot. Ford’s last televised match was on Aug. 17 when she lost to Athena on Rampage.

The original All Out match was set to be between AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm but Rosa reported an injury that pull her from that match. When she returns, whoever is interim champion will face her to unify the belts.
