Two Possible Injuries Take Place At WWE/NXT Live Events

Over the weekend, it has been reported that two possible injuries have taken place at WWE/NXT Live events. The severity of both is currently unknown.

First, Tatum Paxley faced Sloane Jacobs at an NXT Live show in Gainesville, Fla. Those that were in attendance stated that the match was stopped as Paxley was unable to continue. The photos below that the injury may be to her face and could possibly be a broken nose.

Paxley was last seen on TV on the Aug. 2 episode of NXT 2.0 as she teamed with Ivy Nile in a Fatal 4-way for the then-vacant NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles. That match was won by Kayden Carter and Katana Chance who were crowned new champions.

Carmella is the second injury as the “X” was thrown up by the referee during her match in North Charleston, SC. The match was a Triple Threat for the Raw Women’s Title which included Asuka and the Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair. It appeared the injury happened when Belair went to do a back flip and caught Carmella in the head causing her to roll out of the ring.

Carmella was last seen on Raw during the July 18 episode where she faced Belair for the Raw Women’s Title. She was in a tag team bout on a recent Main Event episode alongside Tamina in a losing effort against Asuka and the 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke.

There has been no word on if Paxley or Carmella will miss any time moving forward.

• Sloane Jacobs vs. Tatum Paxley ended in a no contest. The bout was stopped after Paxley appeared to be injured.
•  Alba Fyre def. Indi Hartwell
• Roxanne Perez, Wendy Choo & Zoey Stark def. Cora Jade, Mandy Rose & Tiffany Stratton (w/ Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne)
