Charlotte Flair battled with Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash this past Sunday. She dropped the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Rousey in an “I Quit” match. During the broadcast, it was reported backstage that Flair suffered a fractured radius.
The update provided by WWE.com says the following –
Charlotte Flair will be out of action indefinitely as a result of injuries suffered in her SmackDown Women’s Championship Match at WrestleMania Backlash at the hands of Ronda Rousey, WWE’s The Bump has reported.
According to the Wrestling Observer, it is believed Flair has been written off WWE programming as she is preparing for her upcoming wedding this summer. Flair has spoken previously about getting married to AEW talent Andrade El Idolo this summer.
“We have a [wedding] date. It’s this summer in Mexico, I have my dress,” Flair told BT Sports’s Ariel Helwani.
It is not known at this time when Flair plans on returning.
